Slope failures, litigation, design difficulties, and geotechnical restrictions made construction cost prohibitive.
Carmel Valley Road
PROJECT TYPE: Roadway Construction COST OF CONSTRUCTION: $25,000,000 YEAR OF COMPLETION: 2008 SCOPE OF WORK: Whitson Contracting & Management managed the construction of Carmel Valley Road from Dove Canyon to Black Mountain Road. This $28 million multi-year project was constructed using multiple trade contractors (no GC).
